We've all attended functions where children have been less than well behaved and the behaviour has effected the enjoyment and participation of all in attendance.
Some people elect to have children free weddings where there are no children present (excluding the bridesmaids and pages) However, if you choose to have children at the wedding it might be a good idea to put together goodie bags to hand out at the reception in time for the speeches (lets face it... they can bore the adults..... so the kids don't stand a chance!!)
The bags should contain a variety of "quiet" items that will keep the children entertained for the duration of the speeches. Crayons and paper, pipe cleaners, stickers, mini jigsaws, small books etc.
