Karen Clark is a qualified designer who works in many artistic and creative pursuits.
Karen works from her work room in South Cave and creates both at will and by commission.
Karen has always been creative and her expression and artistic approach can be seen in her creations.
Karen is a project designer & writer for several craft publications and is always in demand to speak to local interest groups such as WI, ladies charity events, craft circles, British Sugar craft guild etc. Bookings can be taken for a variety of talks and demonstrations.
Karen creates bespoke tiaras using the finest quality Swarovski Crystals, fresh water pearls, gem stones, delica beads, and other quality beads. Owning a bead store means that Karen has many contacts world wide and if she cannot source the component that you require, then it probably doesn’t exist!
Karen is able to incorporate items of sentimental value such as grandmas brooch into the tiaras giving a new slant to the old adage “Something old, something new”.
Karen can also create, combs, fascinators, hair pins, barrettes etc .
Using a variety of components, Karen is able to create both bespoke and creative pieces.
Size, colour etc can all be catered for, (Karen will not create jewellery for children under 36 months.)
Polymer clay is a material that Karen works with to create a variety of pendants, beads, earrings and cufflinks.
The clay can be mixed to any colour and Karens design experience and specialist qualifications in colour application mean that she is able to colour match very accurately so that you can have earrings and jewellery created in just the right shade.
Karen teaches individual jewellery making classes and will tailor classes to your own requirements.
She is also available for jewellery making parties.
