The colour of a rose ~ meaning of flowers

The Victorians were the initiators of many secret meanings in gemstone products and floral products. There meanings are less important today, but for those who'd like to know:

White
purity, silence, innocence, worthyness, heavenly

joy, gladness, friendship, delight

thankyou,appreciation, grace, gentleness
Lavender
love at first sight
orange
desire, enthisiam

appreciation, gratitude, delight

farewell
